What to add to the dough for borscht buns to make them soft: main secrets
It's hard to imagine a real Ukrainian borsch without fluffy and fragrant garlic buns. They are very easy to make, but the dough has a few peculiarities. To make the texture of the pastry soft and juicy, it should be made with milk. For flavor and piquancy, pour garlic dressing over the hot buns.

Ingredients:
- flour - 3 cups
- dry yeast - 8 g (1 pack)
- a pinch of salt
- sugar - 1 tbsp
- warm milk - 250 ml
- vegetable oil - 2-3 tbsp
Ingredients for the dressing:
- herbs
- garlic
- salt
- oil
- water
Method of preparation:
1. Sift flour into a bowl, add all the dry ingredients, and mix. Pour in warm milk and vegetable oil and knead a soft, elastic dough.
2. Form 9-10 balls of the same size, put in a baking dish, and cover with a towel for 15-20 minutes.
3. When the dough has risen, bake the buns at 180 degrees for 15-20 minutes until golden brown.
4. For the dressing, beat everything in a blender.
5. After baking, immediately grease the top with the dressing.
