Homemade pancakes are an ideal dish for breakfast and even a snack. To make them fluffy and tasty, cooks advise making the batter with warm kefir.

Ingredients:

  • 300 ml. of warm kefiir
  • 1 egg
  • 3 tbsp. of sugar
  • 1/2 tsp. of salt
  • 220 g. of flour
  • 1 tsp. of baking soda

Method of preparation:

1. Heat the kefir to room temperature (can be done in the microwave).

2. Mix egg with the sugar and salt (do not beat). Then add the kefir, flour and baking soda, mix, cover for 15 minutes, and let stand. The batter will become loose. Do not stir it anymore but carefully spoon it into the pan.

3. Fry the pancakes over medium heat.
