The idea of making strawberry jam of a deep red color was published on the Instagram page of food blogger Lily with the nickname lily.a.cup.of.tea. To preserve the bright color of the strawberries, you will need a lemon.
Ingredients:
- strawberries - 1 kg
- sugar - 600 g
- juice of half a lemon
Method of preparation:
1. Wash the berries.
2. Put them in a saucepan.
3. Cover with sugar.
4. Leave for a few hours to let the juice flow.
5. Sterilize the jars with lids.
6. Cook the jam for 20 minutes.
7. Add lemon juice to preserve the color.
