We are used to eating crispy pizza with a thin dough mainly in various establishments. At home, this dish looks more like a pie, but to make a dough that rolls out well and turns out crispy, you need to add one simple ingredient during cooking.

The idea of making pizza with crispy dough was published on the Instagram page of food blogger Yulia (julia_m_vilich). According to this recipe, sugar is added to the dough.

Recipe for pizza dough with sugar.

Ingredients for the dough:

  • flour - 330 g
  • warm water - 200 ml
  • vegetable oil - 35 ml
  • live yeast - 20 g
  • sugar - 0.5 tbsp
  • salt - 0.5 tsp
Rolling out the dough.

The method of preparing the dough:

1. Add yeast to the water and mix with a whisk until completely dissolved.

2. Add sugar.

3. Add 120 g of flour from the total mass.

4. Mix again with a whisk.

5. Set the dough aside in a warm place for 15 minutes.

6. As soon as a lot of bubbles appear on it, add half the flour and salt.

7. Stir with a spoon.

8. Pour the remaining flour on the table.

9. Put the dough on and knead it by hand.

10. You do not need to add more flour, if the dough sticks to your hands a little, grease your hands with vegetable oil.

11. Grease a pizza pan or baking sheet with vegetable oil and flour and put the dough.

12. Roll out into a round layer, making small sides.

13. The thickness of the base should not exceed half a centimeter (the sides are larger).

Ingredients for the filling:

  • ketchup - 130 g + 1 tsp garlic
  • mozzarella - 200 g
  • hard cheese - 100 g
  • parma - 100 g
  • pepper - 1 pc
  • corn - 2 pieces

The method of cooking pizza:

1. Grease the pizza base well with sauce and put grated cheese.

2. Put the rest of the ingredients and sprinkle a little more cheese on top.

3. The sides of the pizza can be greased with an egg diluted with water.

4. Bake at 200 degrees for 20 minutes.
