What to add to minced meat to make cutlets juicy and soft: 2 simple ingredients
A meat dish that almost every housewife knows how to cook is cutlets, which can be based on completely different meats. For a more dietary and light version, use fillet, and for a more substantial one, pork. To make the cutlets juicy, add vegetables to the minced meat.
Cook Polina shared on Instagram a recipe for delicious soft cutlets with a sauce of cream, hard cheese, and dill, which turned out to be very juicy.
Ingredients:
- minced turkey or chicken – 800 g
- zucchini – 1 pc
- carrot – 1 pc
- eggs – 1 pc
- onion – 1 pc
- garlic – 1 tsp
- salt, pepper – to taste
For the filling:
- cream – 200 ml
- hard cheese – 100 g
- dill
Method of preparation:
1. Grate all the vegetables, squeeze the zucchini well, and add to the minced meat. Add the egg, garlic, pepper, salt and mix well.
2. Form the patties with wet hands.
3. Fry the cutlets in a well-heated frying pan with oil for 2-3 minutes on each side until golden brown.
4. Filling: mix cream with grated cheese and dill.
4. Put the cutlets in a baking dish and pour the sauce over them. Bake in the oven for 30 minutes at 180 °C.
