Ingredients:
- potatoes – 6-8 pcs
- butter – 1 tbsp
- olive oil – 4 tbsp
- mild mustard – 1 tsp
- lemon juice – 1/2 tbsp
- garlic – 2-3 cloves
- salt – to taste
Method of preparation:
1. Peel the potatoes, and boil in salted water. Strain, leaving a little broth.
2. Prepare the sauce: combine olive oil, mustard, lemon juice, chopped garlic, passed through a press, and salt. Whisk it all together.
3. Mash the potatoes with butter (adjust the thickness to your liking using the potato broth). Add the garlic sauce and mix well with a pestle.
Serve the mashed potatoes hot, sprinkled with finely chopped green onions, dill, parsley or paprika, if desired.
