What tasty salad to prepare with chicken liver: suitable for both holiday and everyday table

Liver is often used to make pate, pancakes, and liver cake. That is, the product is mostly chopped. But it will be very tasty if you make a salad with fried pieces of such meat.

The idea of making a delicious salad with chicken liver was published on the Instagram page of food blogger Kateryna Movchan (katarina_movchan). In the original recipe, the dish is seasoned with vegetable oil, but you can also choose mayonnaise.

Ingredients:

  • chicken liver - 300 g
  • canned red beans - 1 pc.
  • medium red onion - 1 pc.
  • eggs - 3 pcs.
  • canned cucumbers - 5-6 pcs.
  • white wine vinegar - 1 tbsp
  • vegetable oil - 3 tbsp
  • salt and pepper - to taste

Method of preparation:

1. Wash the liver and cut off the films and fat.

2. Boil the liver and eggs in salted water for 8 minutes after boiling.

3. Remove from water, peel the eggs, and cool the liver.

4. Cut the onion into thin half rings.

5. Pour the vinegar over and leave to marinate for 10 minutes.

6. Put the onion and washed beans in a deep bowl.

7. Chop the cucumbers, eggs, liver and add to the bowl.

8. Add salt and pepper and season with oil. Stir to combine. If desired, you can dress the salad with mayonnaise.
