What sauce to cook mackerel in: it turns out to be very tender and juicy

Mackerel is a very affordable and tasty fish. And most often it is stuffed with a variety of vegetables. But to make the product juicy and tender, it is enough to choose the right sauce.

The idea of cooking mackerel in the sauce was published on the Instagram page of food blogger Vita with the nickname vitala_foodblog.

Ingredients:

  • 2 mackerel
  • 4 tbsp of sour cream
  • 2 tbsp of strong mustard
  • salt, pepper
  • 2-3 onions

Method of preparation:

1. Cut the frozen mackerel into 2 cm thick slices.

2. Remove the insides and rinse.

3. Make the sauce: mix sour cream, mustard, salt, and pepper, and marinate the fish in the sauce for half an hour.

4. Cut the onion into rings and place on the parchment. Place a marinated mackerel on top of each onion ring.

5. Bake at 180-190 degrees until golden brown (35-40 minutes).
