Many people want to learn how to cook the perfect juicy steak. Even though this dish is not always made from selected meat, its taste can always be improved.
Celebrity chef Gordon Ramsay has revealed how to improve the flavor of steak with an easy trick. In his YouTube video, he showed exactly what manipulations should be done with the meat to make it extra juicy.
First of all, Ramsay advises taking the steak out of the fridge 20 minutes before cooking, because cooking meat that is chilled inside involves overcooking it on the outside.
Next, season the meat generously with coarse salt and pepper, and then turn on the frying pan. As soon as it starts to smoke, add olive oil and whisk it a little. This will create a barrier between the meat and the pan itself and prevent the meat from burning.
To make the steak fried rather than boiled, turn it over with tongs, face down, into the pan. Enhance the flavor of the meat with chopped garlic and a few sprigs of thyme.
To ensure even color, turn the meat every minute. When the steak sizzles, put a piece of butter on it and wait for it to melt. Tilt the pan on its side and pour the mixture of oils and juices that have drained off over the meat.
Rub the steak with garlic cloves with tongs, remove the meat from the heat, and let it rest for a while.
