What foods should be added to the fall menu and why: TOP-8
With the onset of the cold season, our bodies need more vitamins. They can be found in many seasonal products: vegetables and fruits.
Nutritionist Maryna (dietolog_kyiv) shared on her Instagram page what foods you should definitely eat in the fall.
Apples
They are autumn fruits in themselves and are especially delicious at this time. And most importantly, they contain a lot of fiber.
Pumpkin
This vegetable is rich in fiber and a variety of minerals: magnesium, iron, calcium, B vitamins, as well as A and C. It is best, of course, to cook it without sugar and honey.
Mushrooms
Especially chanterelles, which are rich in zinc, sulfur, and vitamins A and B1.
Pomegranate
It is a source of B vitamins, as well as E, C and A.
Cranberries
This is an amazing berry that contains a lot of organic acids, pectin and vitamins. Regular consumption of cranberries improves appetite and digestion, increases the production of gastric juice and pancreatic juice.
Cauliflower
It is considered one of the healthiest foods in the world. It contains a whole arsenal of useful components: vitamins A and C, B vitamins, in particular nicotinic acid (vitamin B3, or PP), as well as calcium, magnesium, phosphorus, iron, healthy proteins and carbohydrates.
Figs
This fruit is especially useful for those with heart and blood pressure problems. However, diabetics and people with gastrointestinal problems should refrain from consuming it.
Persimmon
Persimmons are also good for vitamins A, C, fiber, and iodine, which are important for the body. Diabetics and people with hyperthyroidism should be careful about eating them.
