What batter to fry zucchini in to make them tender and golden: an elementary idea
Zucchini is a versatile vegetable that doesn't require long cooking. To make this ingredient into a delicious, hearty dish, you just need to fry it in batter. But in addition to the traditional flour and eggs, you need to add another simple ingredient for a better taste.
The idea of cooking fried zucchini in batter was published on the Instagram page of blogger Maryna Novikova (marisha_recepti). According to this recipe, sour cream is added to the batter, and the texture is extremely tender and soft.
Ingredients:
- zucchini – 1 pc
- sour cream – 3 tbsp
- flour – 3 tbsp
- eggs – 2 pcs
- garlic
- salt, pepper
- dill
Method of preparation:
1. Cut the zucchini into 0.5 ml slices.
2. Season with a little salt on both sides and set aside.
3. Combine eggs, sour cream, flour, garlic, salt, pepper, and dill.
4. Dredge the zucchini in flour, then in batter.
5. Fry on a preheated skillet on both sides.
