Puff pastry in the freezer is a very good preparation. You can make delicious and satisfying pastries from this product at any time. For example, a cottage cheese pie for tea.

Ingredients:

  • yeast puff pastry (thawed) - 500 g
  • cottage cheese - 500 g
  • eggs - 1 pc.
  • yolk - 1 pc. for greasing
  • apple - 1 pc.
  • raisins - 50-100 g
  • vanilla essence - 4 drops
  • caramel syrup (optional) - 1 tbsp.

Method of preparation:

1. Pour boiling water over the raisins and leave for 5 minutes.

2. Beat the cottage cheese with the egg with an immersion blender until smooth.

3. Peel and core the apples.

4. Cut into cubes and fry in butter for a few minutes to make the apple soft. You can add caramel syrup for flavor.

5. Combine apples, raisins and cottage cheese.

6. Roll out the puff pastry and divide it visually into 3 equal parts.

7. Put the curd mass in the middle one.

8. Make approximately equal strips on the sides at an angle.

9. Wrap the upper and lower strips on the sides.

10. All the rest of them put the cross on the cross.

11. Brush with egg yolk.

12. Set to bake at 180 degrees for 20 minutes in the top/bottom mode. Then switch to convection and cook for another 15 minutes.
