Very beautiful and nutritious jelly fruit cake: step-by-step recipe

You want to taste something sweet even in the incredible heat. It is ideal if the dessert is also refreshing and full of vitamins.

Food blogger Natalia Zhuk shared a recipe for just such a dessert on her Instagram. She told us how to make a nutritious and refreshing jelly fruit cake that looks unusually beautiful.

Ingredients

  • jelly of different colors - 3 packs
  • gelatin - 2 packs (18 g)
  • water - 100 ml
  • sour cream - 600 gr
  • powdered sugar - 100-130 g
  • vanilla sugar - 1 pack
  • biscuits - 200 g
  • melted butter - 70 g
  • fruits and berries
  • transparent jelly - 2-3 packs

The method of preparation

1. First, prepare the colored jelly according to the instructions on the package. Pour it into different containers and refrigerate until it is completely set.

2. Pour cold water over the gelatin and leave it to swell for 10 minutes.

3. Combine sour cream with powdered and vanilla sugar.

4. Add the melted gelatin and mix well.

5. Cut the finished jelly into cubes and add to the sour cream mixture. Mix quickly and pour into a mold covered with acetate film.

6. Flatten and refrigerate until completely set.

7. Crush the cookies and mix with the melted butter.

8. Put them into the mold, the bottom of which is also covered with foil. Smooth it out and put it in the fridge.

9. Pour the transparent jelly with water according to the instructions and leave it on the table until it cools completely but does not harden.

10. Assemble the cake. Put the frozen sour cream and jelly layer on the cookies.

11. Remove the acetate film and put the berries and fruits randomly.

12. Pour in the clear jelly, but not too much, and put it in the freezer for 10-15 minutes.

13. Put the fruit back in and pour the jelly over it. Repeat this 4 times.

14. Put it in the fridge for at least 4 hours until it is completely frozen.
