Pate is a great option for a quick snack. And you can even make 2 types of this spread from one mass, you just need to choose a few simple ingredients. Chicken meat is the best choice for the base, because it cooks very quickly and has a delicate flavor.

Main ingredients:

  • 400-450 g chicken thigh fillet
  • 120 g of carrots
  • 120 g of onions
  • 1-2 tbsp of olive oil
  • 60 g of butter
  • salt, pepper to taste
  • 1/3 tsp nutmeg

Ingredients for the first version of the pate:

  • 40 g sun-dried tomatoes

Ingredients for the second version of the pate:

  • 130 g mushrooms
  • 1 tbsp of oil
  • salt

Method of preparation:

1. Boil the chicken in salted water until tender. Cut onions and carrots into large pieces and bake with olive oil until soft.

2. Transfer the boiled meat and vegetables to a blender bowl, add butter, salt, pepper, nutmeg and the broth in which the meat was cooked. Blend until smooth and divide into 2 parts.

3. Add finely chopped sun-dried tomatoes to 1 part.

4. Add finely chopped and fried mushrooms to the second part. Stir and leave in the refrigerator for several hours to solidify.
