Sangria is a light wine-based alcoholic drink. It is served in many establishments around the world. A variety of fruits and berries are added to it. The drink is refreshing and ideal for evening gatherings.

Ingredients for sangria – wine, ice, mint

Ingredients:

  • rosé wine – 750 ml
  • watermelon pulp – 1-1.5 kg
  • lime or lemon – 1
  • sugar – 1 tbsp
  • mint – 2 sprigs
  • ice

Method of preparation:

1. At the bottom of the jug, dissolve 1 tbsp of sugar with 100 ml of boiling water, and cool slightly.

2. In a bowl, mash the watermelon flesh with a masher. Strain the juice through a sieve and return the pulp to the bowl. Strain the fresh juice through a sieve to remove the seeds.

3. Combine rosé wine, watermelon juice, lime, or lemon juice, and lightly grated mint in a jug. Stir everything.

4. Before serving, add a little ice to each glass separately to keep the sangria cold.
