Universal Vinaigrette sauce: suitable for any dish

If you're looking for a versatile sauce that will serve as a dressing for any salad or a marinade for meat, Vinaigrette is the one to choose. It contains the simplest ingredients that go well together. The dish is very easy to prepare because the ingredients do not require heat treatment – just mix them.

The idea for the Vinaigrette dressing was published on the Instagram page of the famous Ukrainian food blogger Valerii Ponomar (ponomar_valeriy).

Ingredients:

  • mustard – 1 tsp (not spicy)
  • honey – 1 tsp
  • lemon juice – 1 tbsp
  • sunflower oil – 3 tbsp
  • olive oil – 1 tbsp
  • ground black pepper
  • salt, spices, herbs – optional

Method of preparation:

1. Mix mustard, honey and lemon.

2. Pour in the sunflower oil in a thin stream.

3. Pour in olive oil for flavor.

4. Add pepper and mix well.

5. Add salt and any favorite spices to taste.

6. Place the sauce container on a damp towel to add oil with one hand and whisk continuously with the other hand.

7. The dressing is perceived primarily as a dressing for green salads, but it can be used in a variety of ways:

  • as a marinade for grilled meat;
  • as a sauce for salads made of cereals, cabbage, vegetables and beans;
  • as a sauce for ready-made appetizers
  • as a spread for sandwiches
