How to make a universal dough for dumplings
Many housewives knead different doughs for dumplings and varenyky. They experiment with the amount of added flour and kneading techniques. But for those who can't spend a lot of time cooking and are not very experienced in this business, choux pastry is ideal. It can be used to make both delicious dumplings.

Recipe for universal choux pastry
Ingredients:
- flour - 800 g
- eggs - 1 pc
- salt - 0.5 tsp
- oil - 4 tbsp
- boiling water - 375 ml

Method of preparation:
1. Mix the egg, salt and oil.
2. Mix this mixture with flour.

5. Knead the dough to a homogeneous consistency.
6. Cover with a tight lid or cling film (to prevent airing) and let rest for 20-30 minutes.
