Traditionally, tomatoes are preserved for the winter whole. However, if you pickle the vegetable in its own juice, it can be used to prepare a variety of dishes or as a delicious sauce. It is also a delicious appetizer that will perfectly complement meat or fish.
The idea of cooking tomatoes in their own juice was published on the Instagram page of food blogger Tetiana (anyushina).

Ingredients:
- tomatoes - 1.5 kg (1)
- tomatoes - 750 g (2)
- salt - 1 tsp

Method of preparation:
1. Cut the tomatoes (1) crosswise and cover with boiling water for 2-3 minutes.
2. Then drain the boiling water and pour cold water over.

3. Peel the skin and cut tomatoes into cubes.
4. Put in a sieve to drain excess liquid.

5. Pass the tomatoes (2) through a juicer.
6. Pour the juice into the pan and add the chopped tomatoes (1). Season with salt.

7. Put on the fire, bring to a boil and cook for 7-10 minutes.
8. Pour into sterile jars and seal.

9. For safety, wrap it in a blanket.
10. Can be safely stored in the apartment.
