Dinner should always be light and always tasty, as well as quick to prepare. It is best to choose vegetable or protein dishes for dinner, which, firstly, will not make you gain weight, and secondly, will not overload your stomach at night.

Nutritionist Natalia Samoilenko shared a recipe on Instagram for a perfect dinner of mussels and cherry tomatoes with white wine.

You can add white dry wine to mussels

Ingredients:

  • olive oil - 2-3 tbsp.
  • bell pepper - 1 pc.
  • garlic - 2-3 cloves.
  • cherry tomatoes - 300 g
  • onion - 1 pc.
  • parsley - a bunch
  • mussels in shells - 1.5 kg
  • dry white wine - 250 ml
  • oregano, salt and pepper - to taste

Method of preparation:

  1. Dice the onion, cut the pepper into medium slices, chop the garlic, put everything in a frying pan, and fry for about 2-3 minutes in olive oil.
  2. Add the cherry tomatoes and cook for another 4 minutes to warm them up and release their juice.
  3. Add the mussels and spices to the pan to taste.
  4. Then pour 250 ml of dry wine, cover, and cook for 4-5 minutes until the mussels open.
  5. Add parsley and serve.
