The most delicious zucchini casserole for the whole family: how to cook a seasonal dish
During the zucchini season, the most popular dish that every housewife prepares is a casserole. You need to add a lot of cheese to the vegetable dough, as well as sour cream and garlic. Just a few minutes in the oven and you'll have a hearty meal for the whole family.
The idea of cooking a hearty zucchini casserole was published on the Instagram page of food blogger Valentyna Saenko. All the ingredients are as budget-friendly as possible.
Ingredients:
- zucchini - 1 kg.
- onion - 1 pc.
- garlic - 3 cloves
- hard cheese - 200 g
- sour cream - 150 g
- eggs - 3 pcs.
- flour - 150 g
- salt, pepper
Method of preparation:
1. Grate the zucchini.
2. Add salt and leave for 15 minutes to drain.
3. Finely chop the onion.
4. Mix eggs with sour cream.
5. Add salt and pepper, then flour.
6. Drain the zucchini. Add the dough.
7. Stir to combine. Add half of the cheese.
8. Stir the mixture. Put into a greased mold.
9. Sprinkle with the rest of the cheese and bake at 180 degrees for about 40 minutes.
10. You can add greens, meat (minced meat), fried mushrooms, or your favorite sausage if you like. You can also add grated potatoes and carrots.
