The most delicious young potatoes in sour cream: add lots of garlic and herbs
Young potatoes are often served with fried lard or just butter. However, the most delicious is with sour cream. You can make a sauce with herbs and garlic and simply pour it over the potatoes. The result will amaze you.
The idea of cooking delicious young potatoes with sour cream was published on the Instagram page of food blogger Kateryna Movchan. First, boil the vegetable a little, and then mix it with the sauce in a frying pan.
Ingredients:
- young potatoes - 1.5 kg (small)
- butter - 30 g
Ingredients for the dressing:
- sour cream - 350 g
- garlic - 3 cloves
- dill - a bunch
- salt and pepper - to taste
Method of preparation:
1. Wash the potatoes well and boil them with their skin until tender. It should take 20-25 minutes.
2. Put the boiled potatoes in a frying pan.
3. Add butter and fry over medium-high heat for 5 minutes, stirring frequently.
4. While the potatoes are frying, make the sauce: add garlic, finely chopped dill, salt and pepper to sour cream. Stir to combine.
5. Add the sauce to the potatoes and stir.
6. Reduce the temperature to low and cook, covered, for another 5-7 minutes, stirring frequently.
