Ingredients:

  • plums – 600 g
  • sugar – 200 g
  • cocoa (without sugar) – 1 tbsp
  • cinnamon – 1 tsp.
  • cloves – 2 pcs
  • walnuts – 100 g

Method of preparation:

1. Cut the plum in half, and remove the seeds.

2. Put the halves in a saucepan and cover with sugar.

3. Leave at room temperature for at least 3 hours to let the plum juice out.

4. Then put on a small fire and cook for 30 minutes after boiling.

5. Add cinnamon, and cocoa and cook for another 10 minutes.

6. Add the nuts and cook for another 5 minutes over low heat.

7. Pour the finished hot jam into sterilized jars and seal with sterilized lids.

8. You can eat it on its own as a dessert or pour it over fritters, pancakes, or cheesecakes.
