Cherry jam can be used to make a variety of buns, pies or croissants. Any pastry with this filling will be unrealistically delicious. And if you use the following technology, the berries will be like dried ones.

The idea of making delicious cherry jam was published on the Instagram page of food blogger Tetiana (tanyushina). No lemon juice, starch, or other ingredients, just sugar and cherries.

Ingredients:

  • cherries without pits - 1 kg.
  • sugar - 4 cups

Method of preparation:

1. Add a glass of sugar to the cherries.

2. Put on the fire.

3. When it boils, cook for 5 minutes over fairly high heat. The boiling should be active.

4. Then add another cup of sugar.

5. Bring to a boil and cook for 5 minutes.

6. Then add the third and fourth cups of sugar.

7. Pour the finished jam into sterile jars and close with lids tightly.

8. You get 2 0.5-liter jars.

9. Hot jam is liquid, but when it cools down, it becomes thick and viscous.
