If you use the following technique, you can quickly make apricot jam in a frying pan. It will be moderately sweet with a slight sourness. The consistency will be quite thick, and some pieces will remain intact.

Ingredients:

  • apricots - about 2 kg. (chopped)
  • sugar - 0.5 jar
  • citric acid - on the tip of a knife

Method of preparation:

1. Put the apricots in a frying pan or a saucepan with a thick bottom.

2. Turn on maximum fire.

3. Stirring, fry for 5 minutes from the moment of boiling.

4. Add sugar and fry for another 5 minutes from the moment of boiling.

5. Stir regularly.

6. Then add citric acid and keep the jam on the fire for another minute.

7. Remove from heat and pour into jars.
