The doctor named a product to strengthen the immune system

The intestines love vegetables and greens

The most important factor in strengthening the immune system is a healthy gut and proper nutrition. To maintain it, you should eat vegetables three times a day.

Nutritionist Natalia Dubovyk told OBOZREVATEL TV channel about this during an interview. "Our immunity is in the intestines. To maintain it, you need to eat a lot of vegetables. Not fruit, but vegetables, because they contain fiber," she emphasized.

The doctor recommended eating more greens and explained why they are so important.

"I recommend eating vegetables three times a day - for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. It can be greens. They are great for making the intestines work, they enrich it with vitamins, minerals, and macronutrients."

According to Dubovyk, the intestines "don't like" sweets and floury foods, so these foods should not be abused.

"Eat less sweet, yeasty, bread, buns, pastries. It should be dosed because our intestines, unfortunately, do not like it," she said.

"If a person has intestinal problems, he or she should definitely visit a gastroenterologist and get treatment. Because the intestines are the only organ in our body that not only stores our immunity but also provides us with vitamins and minerals. If there is poor absorption of these substances, what kind of immunity can we talk about?" she summarized.
