The benefits and harms of dairy products: discovering the secret

Nothing so hotly argue about thinners, athletes, nutritionists and adherents of a healthy lifestyle as dairy products.

Since childhood, we've been told about the benefits of milk. We have definitely heard that at some dangerous enterprises gave milk for harmfulness. We have seen commercials about bifidobacteria that live in yogurt and save our stomachs from the food apocalypse.⠀

But lately it has become fashionable to dislike milk - websites and magazines tell us that the adult body is not able to digest it, almost every second person is lactose intolerant.⠀ ⠀

Let me tell you a secret: any healthy food in large quantities becomes harmful. It is not without reason that they say: "What is overdone is not healthy!". In Ukraine, there are only 15% of people who are lactose intolerant. And for those who love milk, but are afraid to drink it, I would say: "Drink it for your health! The main thing is to know the measure." ⠀

What is the norm of dairy products.⠀ ⠀

In the daily diet, which should include not only dairy products recommended to consume⠀ whey - 80 -100 g cheese - about 30 g, milk, kefir or yogurt - 250 g.⠀

"Why not more?" - you ask. After all, dairy products are really useful - they provide us with amino acids, fats, calcium and phosphorus. ⠀

So why is there so much talk about the harm of dairy products and especially milk.⠀

The digestive system⠀of adults actually has difficulty digesting lactose. But this happens⠀ differently for everyone. Some people react to its slight appearance, others can calmly, without consequences to drink milk, add it to coffee. It is easier for the human body to tolerate fermented dairy products. ⠀

In large quantities, milk can harm both little ones and adults - there is an opinion that because of it, mucus is formed in the body, which is to blame for various troubles - from ear diseases, allergies and runny noses to asthma. By the way, you can also get fat from healthy cottage cheese and yogurt. The main component of any dairy product is lactose, aka milk sugar, which acts on the body in the same way as other simple carbohydrates - glucose and fructose. ⠀
