Sweet potato mini-pizza: how to cook an autumn vegetable in a new way
Sweet potatoes are a healthy root vegetable, also called sweet potatoes. It is very nutritious, so it is definitely worth adding to your diet. You can do this in the form of a pizza.
The idea of making mini-pizzas with sweet potatoes was published on the Instagram page of food blogger Tanya Perchik (tanya.perchik).
Ingredients:
- sweet potato
- tomato paste or canned tomatoes
- spices (herbs of Provence, rosemary, basil)
- suluguni / mozzarella / parmesan cheese
- fresh basil or spinach
- olive oil
Method of preparation:
1. Cut the sweet potato into crescents.
2. Put in a deep bowl.
3. Drizzle with oil and add spices.
4. Mix well.
5. Put on a baking sheet covered with parchment.
6. Spread each piece with tomato paste and sprinkle with grated cheese.
7. Put a leaf of basil.
8. Put in the oven to bake for a few minutes.
9. Take out, put slices of cheese and sausage, cover with another piece of sweet potato.
10. Bake for 25 minutes at 180 degrees.
