Ingredients for the dough:

  • kefir at room temperature - 250 g
  • a pinch of salt
  • baking soda - 1 tsp
  • flour - 300 g + 30 g for powdering during cooking

Ingredients for the filling:

  • strawberries - 200 g
  • sugar - 2 tbsp
  • starch - 1 tbsp
  • butter for lubrication
  • honey or sugar

1. Pour 250 g of kefir into a bowl.

2. Add a pinch of salt and a teaspoon of baking soda, mix well.

3. Add about 300 g of flour.

4.Knead the dough.

5. Cover and leave to rest for 5-10 minutes.

6. Cut the strawberries.

7. Mix sugar and cornstarch separately.

8. Divide the dough into two parts and roll out, but not too thinly so that the juice does not leak out.

9. Squeeze out the circles, put the filling, sprinkle with sugar and starch and pinch the edges well.

10. Pour 1/3 of the water into the pot.

11. Put in the wet cheesecloth and tie it well.

12. Bring to a boil and add the dumplings, cover and cook for 6 minutes.
