In recent years, the trend for comfort and balance has been taking root in fashion. That's why celebrity stylist Juliko has collected five types of jeans that have lost their relevance in 2024 and have moved into the category of anti-trends.

She posted the list of styles and examples on Instagram. Among them were also low-rise jeans, which young people tried to revive in the summer.

"To stay on trend this fall, you should give preference to simple, well-cut jeans that emphasize the natural lines of the body and provide comfort," Juliko gave general style advice.

Low-rise jeans

"Although attempts are being made to bring this style back, the low rise is not gaining popularity. High or mid-rise remains a favorite as it creates more balanced silhouettes," the stylist commented.

Acid colors and excessive decor

Bright pink, orange, green, and blue jeans should be left in the past, says Juliko. The fact that fewer and fewer people can be seen on the street wearing pants of such colors is also proof of this.

"In 2024, restrained, natural shades and minimalism dominate. Jeans with bright colors or too much decor (rhinestones, embroidery, applications) look outdated," says Juliko.

Jeans with big holes

Recently, minimalism has been used not only in combinations of clothes but also in the details on them. For example, when it comes to jeans with holes, you should give preference to more restrained options.

"Jeans with huge slits on the legs are no longer in trend. Neater options, such as a slight distressed effect or smaller slits, look more stylish," the stylist says.

Jeans with a low flare

You should be careful with the style of flared jeans because there is a fine line between trend and anti-trend: "Flared jeans remain in trend, but the understated version that starts from the knees or hips is no longer relevant. Modern flared models have a high fit and a smoother transition of expansion."

Skinny jeans (joggers)

"The sporty style of jeans with elastic bands on the ankles, which was typical for previous seasons, is fading away. They have been replaced by more classic versions with straight or wide legs," Juliko notes.
