To canned cucumbers in winter were piquant and juicy, they can be closed in tomato sauce. For such a preparation, even older cucumbers are suitable, because they can simply be peeled. You will also need a few more seasonal vegetables.

Ingredients:

  • cucumbers - 2 kg.
  • onion - 1 kg.
  • salt - 2 tbsp.
  • apple cider vinegar - 150-200 ml.
  • sugar - 200 g
  • oil - 1 cup
  • tomato paste - 150 g

Method of preparation:

1. Cut cucumbers into circles, onions into half rings.

2. Salt and mix.

3. In a separate container, mix vinegar, sugar, vegetable oil and tomato paste.

4. Pour over the cucumber mixture and stir.

5. Place cucumbers in jars, cover with lids and sterilize for 10 minutes.

6. Twist, turn upside down.
