Strawberries are a very healthy and tasty berry that is best eaten raw, so you get a lot of vitamins and essential minerals. Strawberries are also used to make jam, jams, pastille, ice cream, compotes, and frozen in the freezer.
Chef Yevhen Klopotenko shared a recipe for a delicious and cooling mint compote on his website that will surprise you with its taste.

Ingredients:

- water - 3 liters
- mint - 6 sprigs

- lemon - 1 pc.
- sugar - 300 g
Method of preparation:
1. Separate the leaves from the mint sprigs.

2. Cut the lemon into slices of approximately equal thickness.
3. Put the strawberries, lemon slices, and mint leaves in equal proportions in the bottom of each jar.

4. Boil 3 liters of water in a large saucepan and pour the boiling water into each jar. Close the lids and leave for 30 minutes.

5. Then pour the water from the jars back into the saucepan. Turn on the heat and add 300 g of sugar. When the water comes to a boil, cook for a few minutes and turn off.

6. Pour the sugar syrup into each jar and screw on the lids.
7. Turn the jars upside down and cover with a blanket or towel. Leave it overnight. Then place it in a cool place.
