Soup of the day: how to prepare red cabbage cream soup

Today we are sharing with you a recipe for red cabbage cream soup with a bright lavender hue and a very delicate taste. It is an extremely easy-to-prepare dish and a great alternative to the usual pumpkin one in the cold season.

  • red cabbage - half
  • potatoes - 2 pcs
  • onion - 1 pc
  • broth - 3 cups
  • cream - 3-4 tbsp
  • oil - 3 tbsp
  • salt - to taste
  1. Wash and peel the vegetables. Dice the onion and potatoes and chop the cabbage.
  2. Fry the onion in vegetable oil until golden brown.
  3. Put the potatoes and cabbage in a saucepan, add broth and salt and bring to a boil.
  4. Add the sautéed onions and cook for 15-20 minutes until the potatoes and cabbage are soft.
  5. Pour cream into the finished soup and beat everything with a blender.
