Sorrel borscht: a dish without which no spring is complete

Sorrel borscht is a classic among the favorite first courses prepared in spring. Not only does it taste great, but it can also cheer you up after a long winter.

Tamara Lozynska, a food blogger, shared how to make nutritious sorrel borscht. On Instagram, she also pointed out which meat would taste best.

Ingredients

  • pork ribs
  • potatoes
  • eggs - 3 pcs
  • onions - 1 pc
  • carrots - 1 pc
  • salt
  • pepper
  • sorrel - 3-5 tbsp.

How to cook

1. Pour water over the ribs and put them on the fire. As soon as the water boils, drain it, rinse the ribs and the pan.

2. Pour the water over the ribs again and put them on to cook.

3. Dice the potatoes and add them to the ribs.

4. Boil 3 eggs and let them cool completely.

5. Cut the onion into small pieces. Grate the carrots. Mix the vegetables and fry them in a frying pan with oil until soft.

6. Separate the yolks from the whites and add them to the roast. Fry.

7. Add the roast and sorrel to the borscht. Cook for a few minutes.

8. Grate the remaining whites on a fine grater and add it to the borscht along with salt and pepper.
