Simple tart for tea: how to prepare a budget dessert for the whole family

If you need something quick to prepare for tea, use homemade jam, which is sure to be in the cellar. You can make a very simple tart with it. The dough is as simple as possible, and you will spend very little time on it.

The idea of making jam tart was published on the Instagram page of food blogger Olha Kobyk (oliakobyk). It won't spoil for a long time.

Ingredients:

  • eggs - 1 pc.
  • sugar - 40 g
  • butter - 100 g
  • baking powder - 0.5 tsp.
  • flour - 220 g

Ingredients for the filling:

  • jam

Method of preparation:

1. Add sugar and baking powder to flour, mix and add chilled butter.

2. Rub the mass into crumbs with your hands.

3. Add egg and knead dough.

4. Wrap part of the dough (1/3) in cling film and put in the freezer for 20-30 minutes. Leave 2/3 of the dough in the refrigerator.

5. Roll out most of the dough (2/3) and place in a baking dish.

6. Smear with jam and grate 1/3 of the dough on top.

7. Bake in the oven at 180 degrees for 30-35 minutes.
