Simple layered jelly dessert: no baking required
Jelly desserts come in handy when you need to make something tasty quickly or when you know the power outage is approaching according to the schedules. You can serve them simply in glasses and combine a variety of flavors you like. For example, chocolate, sour cream, and cherry.
The idea of making a quick jelly dessert without baking was published on the Instagram page of food blogger Tanya (tania_sheremet_). The taste is very delicate.
Ingredients:
- gelatin - 50 g
- water - 4 cups
- milk - 3 cups
- cocoa - 4 tsp
- sugar - 1 cup
- 20-30% sour cream - 0.5 liters
- sugar (2) - 1.5 cups
- vanilla sugar - 10 g or vanilla essence a few drops
- cherry juice - 4 cups
Method of preparation:
1. Pour gelatin into a bowl, add 4 cups of water, mix and set aside to swell.
2. For the first layer, pour sugar and sifted cocoa into a saucepan and stir to avoid lumps. Then add milk, bring to a boil and cool to room temperature.
3. Melt the swollen gelatin mass in a water bath until completely dissolved.
4. Pour one and a half cups of gelatin solution into the mixture of cocoa and milk, mix and pour into glasses. Refrigerate until completely solidified.
5. Pour sugar (2) into the sour cream, add a few drops of vanilla essence and mix until the sugar is completely dissolved.
6. Pour in a glass of gelatin solution, mix and pour into the glasses. This is the second layer. Put in the refrigerator until it hardens completely.
7. For the third layer, take the cherry juice and pour the remaining gelatin solution into it.
8. Pour into glasses and refrigerate until completely frozen.
