Simple apple and cinnamon pie: juicy filling and fluffy dough
Cinnamon apple pie is a delicious homemade pastry for a cozy tea party. The simplest combination of juicy apples and aromatic cinnamon, as well as an easy-to-make dough – this is how the pie can be described.
Food blogger Anna with the nickname anna_tasty_story shared a recipe for apple and cinnamon pie on her Instagram page.
Ingredients:
- butter - 160 g
- sugar - 200 g
- eggs - 2 pcs.
- milk - 250 ml
- salt - a pinch
- baking powder - 2 tsp.
- flour - 360 g
- apples - 4 pcs.
- for sprinkling: cinnamon and sugar
Method of preparation:
1. Beat the butter at room temperature with sugar until smooth.
2. Add eggs and milk to the resulting mass, and continue whisking.
3. Mix flour with baking powder and salt. Add to the mixture and beat with a mixer.
4. Peel the apples and cut them into cubes.
5. Mix sugar with cinnamon.
6. Cover the mold with parchment. Put half the dough, spread half the filling evenly, and sprinkle with cinnamon. Pour the rest of the dough and put the filling again, sprinkle with cinnamon.
7. Bake at 180 degrees for 1 hour and 10 minutes.
8. Sprinkle the finished cake with powdered sugar.
