The apple season is in full swing, so it's time to make a variety of desserts from this fruit. A "Fantastic" pie would be a great idea. The dough in this dish is very similar to puff pastry, but the technology is much simpler. And to make it perfect, you need to add one special ingredient.

The idea for the pie was shared by kniga_pekarya_ on her Instagram page. The blogger adds a little alcohol to the dough, so it flakes and becomes like a puff pastry.

Ingredients:

  • apples – 3-4 pcs
  • eggs – 2 pcs
  • flour – 60 g (1 tbsp of flour – 25 g)
  • sugar – 75 g (1 tbsp. spoon of sugar – 25 g)
  • milk – 100 ml
  • vegetable oil – 2 tbsp
  • baking soda – ½ tsp
  • cognac or vodka – 1 tbsp

Method of preparation:

1. Beat eggs with sugar, add milk and oil, and beat again;

2. Mix flour with baking soda and add to the mixture. Mix everything well – the dough should be very liquid. You can add vodka or cognac to it if you wish – they help to make the dough more layered.

3. Peel and slice the apples very thinly – this is the secret of this pie.

4. Pour the chopped fruit with the liquid dough, and mix gently.

5. Put everything in a silicone mold with a hole in the middle – the cake bakes well in it.

6. Cook the dessert in a preheated oven at 200 degrees for 30-35 minutes.

  • sugar – 4 tbsp (if apples are not sweet, add more)
  • oil – 4 tbsp
  • flour – 180 g
  • baking powder – 5 g
  • vanilla sugar – 1 tsp
  • cinnamon and nutmeg if desired – 1/2 tsp
  • salt – a pinch

Method of preparation:

1. Beat the apples with a blender or grate them on a fine grater.

2. Add milk/kefir, butter, sugar and mix.

3. Sift the flour together with the baking powder, add a pinch of salt, and vanilla sugar, and mix until smooth.

4. Fry the pancakes in a well-heated frying pan, a little less than medium heat. They should be small in diameter.

5. Drizzle with honey when serving.
