"Shuba" salad with melted cheese and without herring: how to cook a familiar salad in a new way
"Shuba" is a delicious, hearty, and very easy-to-prepare salad that every housewife knows how to cook. But if you want to prepare this dish in a new way, replace the usual herring with salmon or mackerel, for example, and add sweet potatoes instead of potatoes.

Ingredients:
- lightly salted salmon or trout – 150 g
- potatoes – 2 pcs.
- carrots – 2 pcs.
- eggs – 2 pcs.
- processed cheese – 2 pcs.
- beets – 3 pcs.
- green onions – a bunch
- mayonnaise
Method of preparation:
1. Boil vegetables and eggs, cool, and peel.
2. Cut the fish and onion into small pieces.
3. Grate the remaining ingredients on a coarse grater.
4. Assemble the salad in layers: potatoes, mayonnaise, fish, onions, mayonnaise, eggs, mayonnaise, grated cheese, mayonnaise, carrots, mayonnaise, beets, mayonnaise.
5. Put the prepared salad in the refrigerator to soak it well.
