Salty cheesecakes with herbs and salmon for a hearty breakfast in 10 minutes
Cheesecakes are a versatile and delicious breakfast dish. They are also hearty and very easy to prepare. But if you've already had enough of the classic ones, you can easily give the dish a different flavor by simply adding new ingredients, such as herbs and hard cheese.
Food blogger Kateryna (katyamull) shared a recipe for delicious cheesecakes with greens, cream cheese, and salmon on Instagram (to watch the video, scroll to the bottom of the page).
Ingredients:
- Cottage cheese 9% – 500 g
- Egg – 1 pc
- Semolina – 2 tbsp
- Hard cheese/mozzarella – 50 g
- Dill/any other herbs – a bunch
- Sugar – 1 hour
- Salt – a pinch
- Rice flour – 1-2 tbsp
- Salmon – 100-150 g
- Cream cheese – 100 g
- Ghee for frying – 2-3 tbsp
Method of preparation:
1. Rub the cottage cheese through a sieve, add the egg, sugar, salt, semolina and mix well.
2. Form cottage cheese patties with your hands.
3. Put a slice of cheese in the middle, add chopped dill and roll in rice flour, shape the cheesecakes.
4. Heat a frying pan, add butter, and fry the cheesecakes.
5. Put the finished cheesecakes in a frying pan, and top with cheese and salmon.
