Royal cheesecake, or how to surprise the whole family with a simple dish: the secret is in the filling

Royal cheesecake is a cake with an unusually delicate flavor that will not leave any family member indifferent.

A food blogger with the nickname recepti_dariko shared a recipe for royal cake on her Instagram page. She also demonstrated how to wrap the dough properly to make the cake look beautiful.

Ingredients for the dough

  • Yeast - 22 grams
  • Sugar - 80 gr
  • Vanilla sugar - 1 tsp
  • Warm milk - 150 g
  • Eggs - 2 pcs
  • Salt - a pinch
  • Butter - 60 gr
  • Flour - 430 g

Ingredients for the filling

  • Cottage cheese 5% - 300 g
  • Sour cream - 15-25% - 100 g
  • Sugar - 100 g
  • Vanilla sugar - 1 tsp
  • Protein - 1 pc
  • Starch - 1 tbsp

Additional ingredients

  • Egg yolk + milk - for greasing
  • Powdered sugar
  • Frozen berries

Method of preparation

1. Combine the yeast with sugar, vanilla sugar, and warm milk.

2. Add the eggs and a pinch of salt. Mix well.

3. Add melted, but not hot, butter.

4. Gradually add the sifted flour and knead the dough.

5. Put the dough into a deep bowl, cover with cling film, and leave in a warm place for 1 hour.

6. Put the dough on a floured work surface, cover with a towel and leave for 10 minutes.

7. Meanwhile, make the filling. Combine all the ingredients and blend until smooth.

8. Roll out the dough into a circle and cut the petals on it.

9. Fold the petals on top of each other to form a pigtail. Cover again with a towel and leave for 10 minutes.

10. Pour in the filling. Brush the edges of the dough with egg yolk and milk and bake for 25-30 minutes at 180 degrees.

Put the cheesecake in the oven.
