Raffaello chocolates: how to make a popular dessert at home
The taste of Raffaello chocolates with coconut is familiar to many people. Often, this dessert is chosen as a nice present for relatives on various occasions. But the best option is to make such a gift with your own hands.
The idea of making homemade Raffaello sweets was published on the Instagram page of food blogger Juliia Vilich (julia_vilich_food_blog)
Ingredients:
- quality white chocolate – 100 g
- cream from 33% – 40 ml
- butter 82% – 20 g
- coconut flakes (fine) – 25 g
Method of preparation:
1. Heat the cream over low heat (no need to boil).
2. Remove from heat and add chocolate, stir with a whisk.
3. If the chocolate is not completely dissolved, place the container in the microwave and melt in pulses or put in a water bath.
4. Add soft butter at room temperature, and use a whisk to make the mass homogeneous.
5. Add coconut flakes at the end. Allow the mass to cool completely.
6. Cover the container with cling film (in contact), and refrigerate for 10 hours, or preferably overnight.
7. Then take them out.
8. Take the required amount of mass with a teaspoon and quickly roll the balls.
9. Roll in coconut or chocolate chips. You can also melt the chocolate or icing, wait until the chocolate has cooled to room temperature, and carefully dip each cooled ball into it with a fork. Only the chocolate needs to be tempered. No icing is required.
