Quick pita bread in a frying pan: you need only 4 ingredients

Pita bread is the perfect base for quick and satisfying snacks. It can even be eaten instead of bread. And if you used to buying such a product in a store, you can now make it at home. The technology is very simple and budget-friendly.

The idea of making a four-ingredient budget homemade pita bread was published on the Instagram page of food blogger Olha (olha.holovina).

Ingredients (for 8 18 cm pita bread sheets):

  • flour - 270 g
  • water (boiling water) - 150 ml
  • salt - 1 tsp
  • vegetable oil - 15 ml

Method of preparation:

1. Add salt to flour, mix, pour in boiling water and oil, and knead the dough.

2. Put it in a bag or wrap it in cling film and put it in the refrigerator for 45-60 minutes.

3. Divide into equal parts and roll each one out as thinly as possible.

4. For smooth edges, you can cut the circles with a plate.

5. Dryy the pita bread in a pan over medium heat.

6. Dry each sheet on both sides for about a minute.

7. Grease each pita bread with a drop of butter.

8. Store in a plastic bag.
