Mackerel can be deliciously baked, stewed with vegetables, and marinated. To make it delicious, make a marinade of water, spices, oil, vinegar, and sugar.

The cook shared a recipe on Instagram for delicious, spicy, marinated mackerel with onions, oil, and vinegar.

Fish recipe

Ingredients:

  • Mackerel – 1 pc
  • Salt – 2 tsp
  • Sugar – 1 tsp
  • Bay leaf – 2 pcs
  • Black peppercorns – 1/2 tsp
  • Coriander – 1/3 tsp
  • Water – 200 g
  • Oil – 1 tbsp
  • Vinegar 6% – 1 tbsp
  • Onion – 1 pc

Method of preparation:

1. Prepare the marinade: mix salt, sugar, pepper, bay leaf and coriander. Bring to a boil and let it boil for a minute. Remove from heat, add vinegar and oil, and let cool.

2. Gut the frozen fish, cut off the head, and cut off all the fins and tail. Cut into a finger and a half thickness.

3. Chop the onion, add to the fish, and pour over the marinade. Put in the refrigerator at least overnight, preferably for a day.
