Quick pancake cake: no need to bake

To make a delicious cake, you don't have to bake it in the oven for hours. Fried pancakes can be used as a base. They are perfectly held together with cream, and the dessert holds its shape well.

The idea of making a pancake cake was published on the Instagram page of food blogger Tati Chudnova (chudnova.food).

Ingredients:

  • sugar - 70 g (3 tbsp.)
  • vanilla sugar - 1 tsp.
  • flour - 300 g (12 tbsp)
  • baking powder - 1 tsp.
  • salt - 0.5 tsp.
  • cocoa - 30 g (2.5 tbsp)
  • eggs - 2 pcs.
  • vegetable oil - 70 ml (4 tbsp)
  • milk - 375 ml

Ingredients for the cream:

  • Philadelphia cheese - 175 g
  • classic yogurt or sour cream - 150 g

Method of preparation:

1. Mix all dry ingredients, add eggs, milk.

2. Beat everything with a mixer, add vegetable oil and knead a homogeneous dough.

3. Fry on a dry frying pan on both sides over low heat until cooked.

Method of preparation of the cream:

1. Combine Philadelphia cheese, classic cream cheese, yogurt and mix until smooth.

2. Alternating the cake/cream, form a cake.

3. If desired, sprinkle with grated chocolate and refrigerate for at least 1 hour, preferably overnight.
