Quick homemade cookies: how to prepare successful dough with kefir
Most often, housewives choose kefir as the basis for homemade cookies or gingerbread. Thanks to it, the dough is easy to handle, and the pastries themselves are airy, tender, and moderately crispy. This recipe uses the simplest ingredients, and the main thing is to find a little free time to enjoy the flavorful pastries.
Food blogger Svitlana (recepti_svitlana21) shared a recipe for homemade cookies, the dough for which can be made with kefir, on her Instagram page.
Ingredients:
- kefir - 350 ml
- sugar - 200 g
- eggs - 1 pc.
- yolk - 1 pc.
- honey - 1 tbsp.
- vegetable oil - 3 tbsp.
- baking soda - 1 tsp
- flour - 500-600 g
Fondant:
- whites - 1 pc.
- sugar - 3 tbsp.
Method of preparation:
1. Beat sugar, yolk and honey.
2. Pour in vegetable oil and kefir. Beat until smooth.
3. Add baking soda and flour. Knead the dough gradually. The main thing is not to add too much flour so as not to make the dough clogged.
4. Roll out the dough and cut out circles. Put on a baking sheet.
5. Bake at 180 degrees for 25 minutes.
6. Meanwhile, prepare the fondant for the cookies. To do this, beat the egg white with sugar.
7. Spread the fondant over the hot cookies in two layers and bake for another 10 minutes.
