Potato casserole from mashed potatoes for a hearty dinner
All potato dishes are the perfect choice for a hearty lunch and dinner. First of all, potatoes are very easy to prepare; you can bake, fry, add to salads and pies, and cook dumplings or chips. Second, you can even make festive dishes from the leftover mashed potatoes.
Food blogger Anastasiia Solopii shared a recipe for a delicious casserole based on mashed potatoes, with a special flavor added by hard cheese.
Ingredients:
- mashed potatoes – 500 g
- eggs – 1-2 pcs
- sour cream – 1-2 tbsp
- hard cheese – 100 g
- salt – to taste
Method of preparation:
1. Add sour cream to the mashed potatoes, and mix well.
2. Add eggs and salt and mix.
3. Grate the cheese on a coarse grater.
4. Put the prepared base into the mold and sprinkle with cheese on top.
5. Put in the oven for 30-40 minutes at 180°C.
The finished casserole can be eaten hot or cold and is delicious. It can be served with vegetables.
