Pasta of perfect texture with salmon: cooks for 15 minutes
We are used to cooking pasta according to the time indicated on the package. And it's good if it's durum pasta – it holds its shape and doesn't stick together immediately. The traditional method is suitable when you are preparing a simple side dish for a salad or meat, but for a truly gourmet pasta, you need to use a different method.
The idea was published on pp. foodpp 's Instagram page. It takes only 2 minutes to cook the pasta, and it will be ready with the rest of the ingredients.
Ingredients:
- smoked or raw red fish – 200 g
- pasta – 250 g
- onion – 1 pc
- cream 23% – 200 ml
- hard cheese
- garlic – optional
Method of preparation:
1. Boil the pasta for 2 minutes, and season with salt.
2. Also fry the garlic and onions for 2 minutes.
3. Cut the fish into cubes and fry for 2 minutes.
4. Pour in the cream and cook for another 2 minutes.
5. Put the pasta to the fish, and add a little broth in which the products were cooked.
6. Stir, and turn off the heat.
7. Serve with grated cheese on top.
Some useful tips for cooking:
1. If you're going to eat the pasta right away, cook the pasta until tender, rinse it a little, sprinkle it with oil, and mix it with the sauce just before serving.
2. If the sauce has thickened, add the water in which the pasta was cooked, broth, or liquid cream.
3. If there is any leftover, you can store it in the refrigerator.
4. On the second day, you can reheat in a frying pan or the microwave, adding a little liquid cream or broth.
