Once you've cooked the stewed potatoes with meat according to this recipe, you'll want to eat them again and again. Not only is it very tasty and nutritious, but it doesn't require much effort to prepare.

Food blogger Alex Mil knows how to cook stewed potatoes correctly. On Instagram, he shared all the secrets of this dish, as well as what products are needed to make it.

Ingredients

  • Potatoes - 1300 gr
  • Chicken fillet or other meat - 700 g
  • Onions - 150 g
  • Carrots - 250 g
  • Garlic - 3-4 cloves
  • Oil - 30 ml
  • Greens for serving
  • Tomato sauce - 2 tbsp
  • Salt
  • Pepper
  • Smoked paprika
  • Bay leaf - 2-3 pieces
  • Water - 1.5 liters.

Method of preparation

1. Pour the oil into the pan, add the meat. Stir fry for 10 minutes over high heat.

2. Add carrots, onions, crush garlic, reduce heat, stir and cook for 4-5 minutes.

3. Add the potatoes, cut into medium slices, spices, tomato and bay leaf, mix well, pour water to cover the potatoes completely and simmer under the lid until the potatoes are soft, stirring occasionally.

4. Cook until the potatoes are tender enough. Turn off the heat and serve garnished with herbs.
