Not just mashed: how to cook potato zrazy with mushrooms
Zrazy are ordinary potato pies. Most often, meat or minced meat is used for the filling, but if you don't have any at home, you can replace it with mushrooms. In any case, potato zrazy are very nutritious and can be prepared in a matter of minutes.

Ingredients:
- potatoes - 600 g
- eggs - 1 pc
- flour - 4 tbsp (+ for breading)
- salt - to taste
- bay leaf - 2 pcs
- onion - 1 pc
For the filling:
- champignons - 200 g
- onion - 1 pc
- salt, black pepper - to taste
- butter - 30 g
Method of preparation:
1. Peel and chop the potatoes. Put them in a pot of water.
2. Add a whole onion and a few bay leaves. Cook over high heat. When the potatoes boil, add salt, reduce heat and cook until tender.
3. Drain the water, remove the onion and bay leaves. Mash the potatoes and cool.
4. Add the egg and flour to the potatoes and mix.
5. Chop the onion for the filling. Fry it in butter.
6. Chop the mushrooms and add them to the onion. Fry for a few minutes and then season with salt and pepper. Cook until the liquid has completely evaporated. Cool down.
7. Form small potato pies with wet hands and add mushroom filling.
8. Roll them in flour and fry on both sides.
