No rice: easy Chinese cabbage rolls that are cooked in a pan
Cabbage rolls are not only a delicious and satisfying dish but also a healthy one because they are based on rice, meat or vegetables, cabbage, and a delicious sauce. They can be cooked without cabbage or you can simply chop it finely and add it to the minced meat, which will make them even softer and tastier.

Tip: bulgur can be an alternative to rice when making cabbage rolls!
Ingredients:
- Chinese cabbage - 1 pc.
- minced beef - 500 g
- onion - 1 pc.
- carrots - 1 pc.
- tomato sauce or juice - 500 ml
- bulgur - 50 g
- tomato paste 100 g + 400 ml water
- sugar - 1 tsp.
- garlic - 1-2 cloves.
- salt, pepper - to taste
Method of preparation:
1. Grate onion and add to the minced meat along with the spices and bulgur.
2. Pour boiling water over Chinese cabbage and cut off the white tails.
3. Grate carrots and fry until golden brown. Add tomato juice.
4. Form cabbage rolls with your hands so that the filling does not fall out.
5. Put them in a frying pan with the sauce and leave for 30 minutes under the lid at medium temperature.
Serve the dish hot with sour cream!
